Brightfield Image
MDA-MB-231 WT Cells (100k Density)
This brightfield microscopy image shows MDA-MB-231 WT cells seeded at a density of 100k cells in a well plate. Images were acquired as part of a experiment with a time interval of 30 minutes between frames. The brightfield channel was captured with an exposure time of 10 ms.
Coarse Segmentation
MDA-MB-231 WT Cells (100k Density)
This image presents the coarse segmentation output derived from the brightfield microscopy image of MDA-MB-231 WT cells seeded at a density of 100k cells. The segmentation reflects noisy outputs from the processing pipeline over a experiment acquiring images with 30-minute intervals.
TRANSFORMING IDEAS INTO POWERFUL SOLUTIONS
Rayfos offers a transformative solution by providing unsupervised semantic segmentation that allows researchers to bypass these conventional processes, delivering initial coarse or noisy segmentations directly from raw images.
Currently, our web service is fully operational and ready to provide these coarse and noisy segmentations, which are especially useful in research environments where detailed, labelled datasets are scarce.
Please note that we currently only support image uploads of size 512x512 pixels. This specification will help us ensure optimal processing speeds and effective segmentation outcomes.
DISCOVER THE NEXT GENERATION OF SEGMENTATION
Looking ahead, we are actively developing additional capabilities for Rayfos, aiming to integrate semi-supervised learning models that will improve the accuracy of our segmentations and introduce advanced features including real-time cell tracking. This will enable more precise analysis and monitoring of cellular behaviours over time, enhancing the tool's utility and application in scientific studies.
LET'S COLLABORATE TO SHAPE THE FUTURE OF SEGMENTATION
To further enhance Rayfos's capabilities and contribute to the scientific community, we are inviting our users to allow us to save their uploaded images and resulting segmentations. This collaboration will not only help in refining our current models but also fast-track the evolution of new features and improvements. Your contributions will be critical in advancing research and developing more robust tools for cellular biology.
SIMPLIFYING COMPLEX ANALYSIS PROCESSES
Both traditional and advanced biological imaging often struggles with data scarcity, heavily relying on methods like staining or fluorescence that are not only time-consuming but also limit rapid research advancement.
Rayfos is dedicated to overcoming the common challenges in biological imaging by reducing dependency on extensive labelled data and simplifying complex analysis processes, making advanced research more accessible and efficient.
Inspired by the Tumor-LN-oC project (tumor-In-oc.eu), an EU-funded initiative focused on studying cancer metastasis, we encountered similar challenges in biological imaging. By addressing these obstacles, particularly the reliance on extensive labelled data, we have worked to enhance the capabilities of our offering. Through this innovative approach, we support the scientific community in pushing the boundaries of cellular biology research, enabling faster, more scalable insights into complex biological systems.
